Road to Weipa

Following this post are some shots capturing our travels from Undura to Weipa.
We didn't take many snaps at Weipa as we used this place to just stop, stock up and prepare for the final push north to the tip!

Relaxing after a long dusty drive at Hann River roadhouse... and this inquisitive peacock wasn't getting any of my chips!

  1. Those daffodils are the size of sunflowers ;)

  2. A dingo ate my scooter, nek minute! Bet the cow was amused by all the shenanigans. :) You wouldn't want to camp near those mounds, the occupants would end up escorting you to their leader for a snack.

  3. The fields around Capella and East of Clermont are actually sunflower farms, they go on for hectares. Cotton is grown in these fields too on rotation.
